ZEP Education Cluster Consultation
Represented by its Resource Mobilization Officer, Culion Foundation, Inc. (CFI) participated in the first Education Cluster Consultation of the Zero Extreme Poverty 2030 (ZEP), a civil society-led movement to end poverty in the country. The ZEP movement is a product of the Poverty Summit in 2015 with the theme of “Building pathways in reducing poverty and inequality.” Currently, CFI is supporting health and education, two of the eight identified themes of the ZEP movement. The first ZEP education cluster meeting was held on October 24, 2016 at the Valenzuela City Hall. It was attended by various education-oriented non-governmental and civil society organizations, national and local government executives, and the academe. The event was hosted by the local government of Valenzuela.
