Culion Foundation, Inc. joins DOH Western Visayas CHD in Active Case Finding and Treatment of Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in Lambunao, Iloilo
Through the joint effort of DOH Western Visayas CHD Regional Leprosy Control Program & Regional Lymphatic Filariasis Elimination Program, Culion Foundation, Western Visayas Sanitarium General Hospital, Iloilo Provincial Health Office, Capiz Provincial Health Office and Lambunao Municipal Health Office - the people of Brgy. Cabatangan, Lambunao, Iloilo was revisited and provided with medical services.
Active Leprosy case finding & household contact examination and screening for possible Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) using Single Dose Rifampicin (SDR) and Lymphatic Filariasis Disability/deformity case finding was done at the boondocks of Lambunao, Iloilo.
