CFI, new member of the Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis
Culion Foundation, Inc. (CFI) became the newest member of the Philippine Coalition Against Tuberculosis (PhilCAT). The coalition works in partnership with the Department of Health to spearhead collective efforts in controlling and eliminating tuberculosis, together with leading local specialty societies, infectious diseases specialists, and pharmaceutical industries. The PhilCAT serves as the unifying force to more than 50 organizations in supporting the National Tuberculosis Control Program. During the PhilCAT General Assembly on August 18, 2016, the new Board of Trustees of the coalition took their oath of office. In addition, the Resource Mobilization Officer took an oath of membership on behalf of CFI as the newest member of the coalition in fighting and eliminating tuberculosis in the country. The assembly was attended by different member-organizations of the coalition.
